The bottom half of the menu transforms only the current selection region. When a selection region is rotated, it is cut out, rotated, and then pasted back in. When it is pasted back in, it is aligned with the upper left corner of the selection region. Some other ICON editors offer additional transformations such as shifts and reflections. These transformations are not included in this menu because than can all be reproduced with greater flexibility by using various combinations of the cut, copy, paste, and transformation commands."
